John Ndile Musila, the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Laini Saba Ward, proudly unveiled the newly renovated Western-Nyando Bridge today.

The bridge, which had been under renovation for a significant period, has now been completed and officially handed over by the contractor.

During the inspection and launch ceremony, Hon. Mutie, also known by his alias Kaende, expressed his gratitude to the county government for their support in enabling the legislators to fulfill their manifesto promises.

“Target achieved, Western-Nyando bridge now done and passable. I am happy to see the current state of this bridge compared to how it was a few months ago. It was a significant challenge for our residents to pass by, and now it is a problem solved. We move on to another project. Kazi Kwa Mpango,” said Kaende.

He also holds the position of deputy majority leader from the Wiper Party, a coalition member of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya.

Kaende, currently serving his first term as the ward representative, has set his sights on further developing the area if re-elected for a second term.

He outlined his future plans, stating, “We are looking forward to constructing new roads and re-carpeting the old and worn-out ones. Installing street lights to enhance security is also a priority for the financial year 2024/2025.”

The renovation of the Western-Nyando Bridge marks a significant achievement for the community, improving accessibility and safety for residents.

Kaende’s commitment to ongoing development projects reflects his dedication to enhancing the infrastructure and overall well-being of his constituents in Laini Saba Ward.

His proactive approach and clear vision for future projects underscore his efforts to ensure that the area’s development needs are met comprehensively.
