One of the heavyweight partiners of Tonse alliance in Malawi, UTM has detached from the alliance. The news has known today when some of the senior officials from UTM held a press conference at their headquarters in area 10, Lilongwe. The General Secretary of the party Patricia Kaliati explained that they are yet to map way forward ahead 2025 polls. The development comes barely after one month since the founder and the leader of the party Saulos Klausi Chilima and eight others died in plane crash on 10 June ,2023 at Chikangawa forest in Mzimba.
