Nairobi, September 30, 2025 – Johnnie Walker, the world’s number one Scotch whisky, has unveiled a new limited-edition design for Johnnie Walker Blue Label to mark the upcoming Diwali festivities. The design, created in partnership with renowned Indian fashion designer Rahul Mishra, brings together two icons of craftsmanship – haute couture and luxury Scotch – in a celebration of culture and connection.

Rahul Mishra, the first Indian fashion designer to showcase at Paris Haute Couture Week, is famed for redefining couture through craft, colour, and community. His design for Johnnie Walker Blue Label illustrates a bright festive night, with blooming flowers and spirited animals, symbolising a bright beginning, embracing hope and prosperity.

Just like the craftsmanship in every drop of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Mishra reinterprets traditional Indian craft to translate into slow fashion, using slowed down processes of hand-weaving and hand embroidery. 

Commenting on the launch of the limited edition, Rahul Mishra said: “Johnnie Walker Blue Label has been a symbol of luxury and celebration for decades – not only in India but across the world – and learning more about the time and craftmanship that goes into every bottle has been a wonderful journey. Only one in every 10,000 casks from the brand’s extensive reserves is deemed exceptional enough to craft this iconic whisky, making it a rare expression of heritage and mastery.

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label x Rahul Mishra limited-edition design will be available at select outlets in Kenya at a recommended retail price of Sh 35,000* while stocks last. Once sold out, no further editions will be produced.
