Ultimate City Nairobi, located at 209 State House Road, hosted the first anniversary of Filmmakers Hangout on Saturday, 4th October 2025.
The event, held in collaboration with Guzman Productions, brought together creatives, producers, and film lovers for a night of screenings, networking, and celebration.
The evening featured film producer Adam Neutzsky-Wulff, who presented his 2019 film All the Little Things We Kill. The movie follows a college professor who takes her students hostage to push for the passage of a bill banning semi-automatic weapons. It stars Elizabeth Marvel and Jessica Sula.
Guests enjoyed an engaging film experience, complete with quality sound, a comfortable screening setup, and light refreshments.
Adam Neutzsky-Wulff , Group CEO of Drama Deluxe International Ltd commended the event, saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and Ultimate City offered a really good experience for my movie screening.”
Amos Cheruiyot, CEO of Filmmakers Hangout, expressed pride in how far the community has come.
“Last Saturday, we gathered at Ultimate City Studios to celebrate the first anniversary of Filmmakers Hangout,” he said. “Among the guests were Adam Neutzsky-Wulff, Jon Greenland, and others.
The event was hosted by the talented Mugambi Ikiara. Thank You Ultimate City for facilitating us with space.”
He added that the day’s activities included a film screening, a Q&A session, cake cutting, networking, and an after-party.
“We are proud of the strides Filmmakers Hangout has taken since its inception. It has positively impacted many filmmakers. As we continue this journey, we hope to scale up and reach even more creatives,” he said.
Looking ahead, Ultimate City aims to establish itself as a hub for creative events, cultural discussions, and corporate gatherings.
