Kenya Power, has listed 13 counties that will be affected by scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, across the country.
In Nairobi County, areas to be affected include parts of Juja Road, parts of Muratina Road, Juja A & B, Strawberry Plaza, Alamin Hospital, Juja Corner Plaza, and adjacent customers.
Nairobi Blackouts will start from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Other areas to be affected are Msufu Road, Sumba Road, Naimei Road, ICC Church Mombasa Road, Paa Crescent, Kifaru Crescent, Swara Crescent, Ghandi Avenue, Kisauni Road, Muthaiti Avenue, Muhoho Avenue, Nairobi West Hospital, Hotel Rio, Kodi Road, Summerdale Hotel, ABSA Bank N/West, Geta Road, Nyayo Stadium Masaba Road, Ole Sankale Road, Madaraka Estate, Serene Court, Foundation Court, Ramsey Court, Siwaka Estate, Stratmore University, Langata Technical College, Madaraka Primary School, and adjacent customers.
Ongata Royal Academy, Kandisi, Kandisi Catholic Church, Balozi, Metro, Kambi Moto, and adjacent customers in Kajiado County will also be affected by the blackouts.
n Machakos County, the affected areas in the interruptions that will start from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm are UBC, People’s Park, Maruba, Legend Area, Iluvya Road, Katoloni, Kwa Mwau, Vota, Katumani, Kwa Katheke, Kimutwa, Love, Kaathi, Makaveti, Masaani, Mutuyu, Mang’auni, Kalama, Kinoi, Kamweleni, Kwa Mutisya, Mbondoni.
Others are Yaitha, Kwa Kavoo, Kyawalia, Kyamuthinza, Membani, Kitonyini, Muumandu, Lumbwa Complex, Kivandini, Ngiini, Nyayo, Malili kwa Kea, Kavyuni, Katuaa, Mutulani, Kasunguni, Liyuni, Veve, Miaani, Mbuani, Kola, Katanga & adjacent customers.
Nandi County
In the North Rift, Kenya Power has listed Kapkawa, Simbi, Kili Farm, and adjacent customers. to experience interruptions between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Blackout will also affect regions of Nandi County from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
The affected areas in the region include Serem Boys, Kapkemich, St. Makarios, Kapkures, Kabiyet, Kamoywo & adjacent customers.
In Busia County, the power outages will start from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will affect Matayos, Bumala, Nambukhu, Mulwanda, Nambumboto & adjacent customers.
The outages will also be experienced in the Sibembe regions of Kakamega County from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Affected towns in Kakamega include Sivilie, Sikubale, Mwibale, Khalala, Kanduyi, and adjacent customers.
Bungoma County from (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
