Today mp& jubilee member Jeremiah Kioni declared that Jubilee is still standing strong and it’s flag is flying high after the recently elected MCA from Utawala ward came from the party.
Mr Kioni who is a respected member of parliament congratulated the young man on his win stating that this is an indication that Kenyans still have Jubilee at heart.
Kioni who is a six time elected member of parliament also stood up for jubilee stating that the party is still standing and is strong inspite of some members meeting in Nakuru in an attempt to disband the party.
Mr Kioni said,”We are aware that some members met in Nakuru and planned to disband the party even going as far as electing new officials.I would like to state that this is unconstitutional and illegal.I would like to ask Kenyans to ignore these fellows and know that the party is still intact with the old leadership.”
He added,’We also condemn members who stayed silent while members of parliament were attacking & condemning our party leader H.E Uhuru Kenyatta.He is a statesman who served this country well and deserves to be respected.They should be the first to stand up for him.”
The party congratulated newly elected MCA from Utawala ward who successfully clinched the seat with a jubilee ticket.
