Leaders under the Azimio La Umoja team must work together to help Raila win and help the coalition majority seats in Nairobi.
This is according to Jubilee’s Richard Ngatia who is targeting the joint Azimio La Umoja ticket.
Ngatia on Wednesday made several stopovers in Kibra,Ruaraka, Mathare and Gikomba where he rallied Nairobi residents behind Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his gubernatorial bid.
” We must all agree that the next president is Raila Odinga and your next governor is Richard Ngatia,” Ngatia told an electrified youthful crowd at Gikomba market.
He however warned that this will only be achieved if all leaders under the Azimio banner work together.
“We must work together as leaders to avoid any divisions that may give our opponents room for victory,”
Ngatia also rallied the Mount Kenya voters behind the Azimio team, promising to solve issues related to traders if elected governor.
“We understand your problems as traders ams that is why we are uniting under Azimio to give a lasting solution that will guarantee jobs and improved living standards,”
The Kenya Chambers of Commerce and Industry president explained that he has been friends with Odinga ever since before he was elected to the chamber.
Ngatia assured Nairobi residents of his robust plan to solve unemployment, water scarcity and other challenges that have bedeveled the city.In his plan,he promised to give young people priority in procurement opportunities, help them venture into digital economy as well as participating in community based activities.
Ngatia was accompanied by former Kasarani MP Elizabeth Ongoro and a host of MCAs from the county assembly of Nairobi.
