More than 100 golfers will on Friday, June 27, 2025, tee off at the fairways of the Eldoret Golf Club for a high-profile day of sport, client engagement, and networking, as Minet Kenya hosts a premier invitational tournament to mark the launch of its new regional office at Daima Towers, Eldoret.

The one-day event, to be held at the picturesque 9-hole course at Eldoret Club, blends the competitive spirit of gold with high-level corporate networking. The field will feature a diverse lineup of Minet Kenya’s senior leadership, account managers, and key stakeholders from the region coming together for a day on the greens designed to foster lasting relationships and celebrate the major milestone in the company’s national expansion.

Presiding over the tournament will be Eldoret Club’s Captain, Luka Cheserek, a stalwart of the North Rift golf scene and business leader championing the sport’s role in corporate development. He said: “Golf has a unique way of bringing people together in the spirit of shared values and healthy competition. We are honoured to welcome Minet Kenya to our course and to support their vision for growth in the region.”

Speaking about the tournament, Minet Kenya CEO, Sammy Muthui, noted how the sport reflects the company’s values, saying: “Just like golf, success in our business requires precision, foresight, and consistency. Hosting this tournament is a testament of our intent to play the long game in Eldoret and the greater North Rift region. We are here to build lasting partnerships and deliver results on and off the course. Whether battling for bragging rights on the leaderboard, or bonding over business and birdies, players and guests can expect a memorable day of camaraderie all under the banner of our bold new expansion drive.”

Launching the Eldoret regional office signals a strategic move by Minet Kenya to serve clients in the North Rift and Western region better with bespoke risk advisory and insurance services. The golf day is part of a wider rollout of activities celebrating the firm’s growing national footprint and renewed promise to deliver accessible, high-performance services across Kenya’s emerging economic hubs.

The new Minet regional office will provide risk advisory and insurance services to clients across the North Rift and Western Kenya regions, positioning the company to respond more efficiently to local market dynamics. The golf event is part of a broader calendar of activities celebrating this expansion, all of which highlight Minet’s national growth strategy to increase accessibility and service excellence across Kenya’s fast-developing urban centers.
