LG Kenya, has today launched the second laundry smart solution shop at Thika Road Mall ( TRM). This comes almost a year after the first laundromat launch at the Point Mall in Buruburu.
While addressing the media, Mr. Ravi Kanani, Hotpoint B2B Regional Business head said this will be a game changer as far as cleaning and laundry is concerned. “Kenyans were used to dry cleaning which according to our market survey is costly and tedious. Our smart solution will make work easier in that clients can do all their laundry services with a few clicks from their smartphone,” he said.
He added that Kenya will soon march developed countries in the quality of services offered in all sectors.
Hotpoint will also offer financial and franchising options for all investors through Havana who will guide all investors through a working template which includes location, branding and pricing support options.
The LG smart solution works with Laundry Launch App which is easy and comes with a friendly user interface. ” The app is able to show you the available dryer and washing machines available at a given time. This enables our clients to easily manage their time as they do their shopping around the mall.
The laundromat is also geared towards improving people’s life as opposed to normal hand washing which requires physical presence. In addition, clothes washed through our solutions come with a different texture and a pleasant fragrance as opposed to dry cleaning or hand washing.
Kenyans will have to part with Sh 90 only per kilogram to enjoy the smart solution service.
