Pamoja Mbele initiative, (PMI) a Non-Governmental Organization has vowed to champion youths empowerment as a way of eradicating poverty and suffering in the society
Through its Founder Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Ali, the group has vowed to do what it can to empower the youths for the betterment of society.
“We want to empower our youths for a better tomorrow. We are working very closely with the youth and making sure we support the ideas, talents and skills they have. We support business ideas and monitor the progress” he told the press during a youth summit that took place at a Nairobi Hotel
He said that his organization will make sure it will not rest until we have a better society for better Tomorrow.
“We are focused on providing high-quality primary care at low cost to the poor and underprivileged communities in Kenya, a large population of the youths in Kenya are poor,” he added.
He added that Working with the communities, whose homes and livelihoods have been severely affected by the drought, unemployment, and man-made disasters was the priority.
“Being hungry affects everything in people’s lives, especially when they can’t cover basic needs in their day-to-day lives. Families with children, who sleep on empty stomachs don’t do well in school and even miss being active in learning, at last, they become sick, weak, and die,” he added.
He said that his organization believes in clean water and through that some communities can easily eradicate poverty.
“Clean water and sanitation bring healthier societies and make them creative,” he added.
The organization has some programs that will run throughout the country for the benefit of society.
