Nairobi’s Jubilee gubernatorial candidate, Richard Ngatia today spearheaded the Azimio la Umoja coalition campaigns in Nairobi’s Eastlands areas.

The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) president assured the Azimio supporters that, his administration will work closely with Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s government to improve livelihoods in the city life.

Ngatia once again urged Westlands Lawmaker Tim Wanyonyi to shelve his ambitions and support him as a deputy governor adding that they will share the county government equally.

“I want to urge my brother Wanyonyi, to agree and be my deputy, this leadership is all about serving people and not an individual property, so let’s plan ourselves about Nairobi and then focus on mobilizing more votes for Raila in this city,” Ngatia said.

The KNCCI boss who recently signed a deal with Saudi Arabia promised that his administration will seek for employment opportunities for over 5000 youth in the gulf region.

Ngatia was speaking in Nairobi’s Eastlands area where the coalition held a series of rallies in Embakasi West, Embakasi East and Makadara to drum up support for Raila and drive the Azimio agenda.

Ngatia was accompanied by veteran Senator Maina Kamanda, Makadara MP and ODM Nairobi chairman George Aladwa, Nominated Senator and aspiring Nairobi Women representative Beatrice Kwamboka, Former CAS Beatrice Elachi, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and several Nairobi Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) led by Upper Savannah MCA Stazo Omung’ala.
